Uganda Cranes set to test mighty against Morocco

The Uganda senior National football team, Uganda Cranes are set to lock horns with 2022 FIFA World Cup semi-finalsts, the Lions of Morocco in a test serie slated next month.

The high profile International friendly arranged to take place in Tangier is one of the two games Morocco has lined up to play in the forthcoming window.

The North African giants under the command of tactician Walid Regragui and a blend of European stars will confront Mozambique first on 14th November before the challenge against Uganda four days later.

A surprise choice of the opposition flaunted to the natives at home, the two games will serve as preparatory auditions ahead of the home coming 2025 CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Morocco are in group A alongside Mali, Zambia and Comoros while Uganda will have to overcome the likes of Nigeria, Tunisia and  neighbours Tanzania on return at the continental competition.

Riding on an impressive long winning streak, the Moroccans will be eager to maintain their form intact going into the final tournament. For Uganda it avails a platform to access the  credentials.
