Delta Queens defender, Chika Idika has assured that her target with her team is to pick Super 6 ticket.
Chika was instrumental when her team defeated Ibom Angels in Asaba on Nigeria Women Football League matchday 7 fixtures.
She expressed gratitude for the victory. “I thank God for the victory,” Idika said.
Chika emphasised the importance of team spirit in their success.
“Team spirit,” she said, highlighting the camaraderie among the players.
Looking ahead to the rest of the season, Idika set her sights on the Super Six.
“My goal for this season is Super Six, and with the way we are playing now, it’s achievable,” she said confidently.
Assessing her own performance, Idika rated herself 80% and identified areas for improvement.
“I hope to improve on my pullouts as a central defender (long range kick),” she said.
With their eyes on the prize, Idika emphasised the need for full concentration and a Super Six ticket.
“Full concentration, and Super Six ticket,” she said, underscoring the team’s determination to succeed.
