Vipers rekindle rivarly with Kitara in Uganda Cup Semi-finals

The highly anticipated Semi-finals draw of the Stanbic Uganda Cup was finally conducted on Monday morning, setting up mouthwatering fixtures for the next phase of the 51st edition.

The last-four draw is headlined by a Startimes Uganda Premier League bout that pits holders Kitara FC and Vipers SC, a repeat of last year’s Quarter-final.

Vipers will be hosts for the first leg at St Mary’s Stadium Kitende, before they embark on a decesive return leg at Royals Park, Butema in Hoima.

In the other draw, joint record winners KCCA FC confront Kataka FC who have been making sound waves across the country in the local competition.

The Kasasiro Boys welcome the FUFA Big League outfit first at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo as they seek to conclude this season with atleast a silverware in their cabinet.

The first leg Semi-final ties will take place in the forthcoming month between 3rd-4th May, 2024, followed by the return legs around 17th-18th May.

A team that lifts the prestigious trophy at end of the campaign, secures rights to represent Uganda in the CAF InterClub Secondary competition, CAF Confederation Cup.
