The venoms striking department has been dealt with another blow mid way the 2024/205 Startimes Uganda Premier League campaign
The latest forward is Annest Ankunda joining the likes of captain Milton Karisa and new signing Isaac Ogwang who are watching from the sidelines.
The 21-year-old suffered a bone fracture in his foot in the last Stanbic Uganda Cup Round of 32 encounter against the Ankole Lions of Mbarara City.
The first-ever Uganda Cup fixture to be played under the floodlights ended 2-0 in favor of the venoms, with Ankunda starting on that day.
“Forward Annest Ankunda has been ruled out for the rest of the 2024/25 season having suffered a bone fracture in his foot in our last Uganda Cup round of 32 game against Mbarara City FC.” Vipers SC confirmed ahead of UPL clash against Mbarara City
The former Ntugasaze player had featured 5 times in the top-flight before this injury setback. Ankunda debut at Vipers came way back in September against Express FC.
