Uganda International unveiled in North Africa

The Ugandan International secures the first professional contract in her football career outside the East African territory.

Egyptian giants Masar FC have announced the signing of Crested Cranes player Phionah Nabulime.

The new arrival in Badya joins the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League bronze medalists from Finance Trust Women Super League side Kawempe Muslim.

The former valley warriors captain will don jersey number 6 at her new home in the North African nation.

She replaces compatriot Shadia Nankya who left the club a few days ago for Washington Spirit in the National Women’s Soccer League.

At Masar, Nabulime will be playing alongside her national team-mate Aisha Nantongo currently in Crested Cranes camp for 2026 WAFCON Qualifiers.

The total of Ugandans plying their trade in Egypt comes to three when you add defender Bridget Nabisaalu who features for Modern Sport.
