Nigerian defender Ola Aina, who currently plays for Nottingham Forest and the Super Eagles, has reacted to the news of Mohammed Salah’s contract extension with Liverpool.
The 32-year-old Egyptian winger has signed a two-year deal with the Reds, putting to rest speculation about his future at Anfield.

Aina, who has faced Salah several times in the Premier League, jokingly hinted that the league is in trouble now that Salah has extended his contract.
“Has he signed? Mohammed has signed again. The league is finished. He’s signed on? Everyone’s in trouble,” Aina remarked with a humorous tone.
Aina has had mixed results against Salah, winning three out of six games against the Egyptian winger. However, Salah has scored three goals in those six encounters.
The Liverpool winger has been in incredible form in the Premier League, scoring 184 goals and providing 86 assists in 294 games. He is currently joint 5th on the league’s all-time scorers chart alongside Sergio Aguero.
