Nigeria’s Super Falcons defeated arch-rivals Ghana’s Black Queens 3–1 in a friendly match played behind closed doors in Casablanca, Morocco on Sunday. The game was part of Nigeria’s final preparations for the upcoming 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), which kicks off in Morocco on July 5.
Goals from Ihezuo, Oshoala, and Ajibade Seal the Win
The nine-time African champions dominated the match, with Chiwendu Ihezuo opening the scoring in the 34th minute. Ten minutes later, Asisat Oshoala converted a penalty to double the lead before halftime.

Just five minutes into the second half, team captain Rasheedat Ajibade added a third goal to extend Nigeria’s advantage to 3–0.
Ghana thought they had pulled one back through Evelyn Badu, but her goal was ruled out for offside.
