The South African giants having a tour in Uganda had a stop over at the newly re-developed facility in the capital.
Mamelodi Sundowns led by their Chairman Mr. Tlhopie Motsepe, together with Cranes legend Denis Onyango paid a courtesy visit to Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo.
The Masandawana held a football clinic at the Stadium on their third day in the East African nation that nurtured Onyango, the man behind their trip to Uganda.
Sundowns leader Tlhopie Motsepe joined the long list of diplomats that have been left impressed by efforts initiated by Hamis Kiggundu to upgrade the venue.
“Its a beautiful facility that we are here today, you know Hamz Stadium is a testimony to what can be done in African Football for all communities and the power of Football.” Said Chairman Tlhopie Motsepe
Took around a period of four years of renovations, Hamz Stadium underscores the opportunities that come along with development of infrastructure in the sports discipline.
Apart from playing host to local competitions, Hamz Stadium has staged matches on continental level in recent times and now is in picture for the upcoming tournaments.
