The speaker of parliament of Uganda, Rt. Hon. Annet Anita Among, hosted former Liverpool player El Hadji Diouf at her residence in Nakasero.
The moderator from Parliament of Uganda recognized the presence of Diouf in the land, requesting him to be an agent of goodwill to Uganda abroad.
“His presence in the country will greatly motivate our young athletes and show how sports can benefit both individuals and the nation. We also encouraged him to serve as an ambassador, showcasing the beauty of our country to the world.”

Among, went ahead to say that visit of the two-time CAF Player of the year will greatly have an impact on the young athletes interms of motivation.
Diouf, in company of FUFA president, Hon. Moses Magogo Hassim, and renowned Musician, Eddy Kenzo paid to a visit to Uganda Cubs Camp in Njeru.
The Senegalese Legend preached words of encouragement to the junior side in preparation for the upcoming 2025 U-17 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.
Lastly, Among expressed gratitude to Eddy Kenzo, FUFA as body, for efforts in Diouf’s tour and every individual that was involved in making sure this becomes a reality.
