The Uganda Premier League secretariat has announced a slight adjustment in the matchday 19 fixture between SC Villa and Maroons FC.
Originally the showdown was programmed to happen on Saturday, March 8, 2025 but a new date has been established.
SC Villa vs Maroons FC encounter will now transpire on Sunday, March 9, 2025, a delay of only twenty four hours.
“The Uganda U17 Women’s National Team will be playing against the Kenya U17 in the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers on Saturday, 8th March 2025, at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo.
Accordingly, #M152 SC Villa vs Maroons FC which was scheduled to be played on Saturday, 8th March 2025, has been postponed by one day to Sunday, 9th March 2025.”
Meanwhile, SC Villa via their socials have revealed that this encounter will be hosted at Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.
This will mark the first game to be played at this venue since closure to start renovation works in preparations for the 2024 Africa Nations Championship.(CHAN)
