The management of NPFL club side Sunshine Stars of Akure has given the coaching crew three matches to deliver from the poor performance of the club in the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
According to the club’s media officer Femi Atolagbe said the verdict was extended to the Team manager, welfare officer and also the back room staff of the club.
Sunshine Stars are currently battling with relegation, the second round of the season has been poor for the Owena whales. They’re sited in the 17th position on the log with 28 points.
Their next three matches are Kwara United at home and they’ll travel to lafia to play Nasarawa United who’s also battling relegation.
They will later host Plateau United at home which will serve as the third match which the coaching crew must deliver to avoid any sanctions.
