“Ogunfuwa Omotoke🤝Oleka Eberechukwu. Both have put pen to paper with the sky blue ladies ahead of the #NWFL25 second stanza,” the club announced.

Ogunfuwa joins Remo Stars from fellow NWFL Premiership side Dannaz Ladies, where she scored two goals in the first stanza of the season. Oleka, meanwhile, arrives after previously playing for Osun Babes at the 2024 NWFL Championship.

Remo Stars Ladies are set to kick off the second stanza of the league against Nasarawa Amazons in Lafia on March 19, 2025. They will then face Confluence Queens, Ekiti Queens, Edo Queens, Heartland Queens, Abia Angels, and Dannaz Ladies to complete the regular season, aiming to secure a spot in the season-ending NWFL Premiership Super Six Playoffs.

Wemimo Mathew’s team currently leads Group A with 19 points from seven games and are one of four unbeaten teams in the league, alongside Rivers Angels, Bayelsa Queens, and Edo Queens. Notably, Remo Stars Ladies hold the highest points total and win percentage among the unbeaten teams.
