The Nigerian international then got on the scoresheet himself in the 71st minute, netting Galatasaray’s third goal of the match. This was Osimhen’s 22nd league goal of the season and his 31st across all competitions, further solidifying his reputation as a prolific striker.
Eyupspor managed to pull a goal back through Luccas Claro in the 79th minute, but their hopes of a comeback were quickly extinguished by a late brace from substitute Alvaro Morata, who scored in the 87th and 90th minutes to seal a comprehensive 5-1 victory for Galatasaray.
Osimhen was substituted in the 76th minute, having made a significant impact on the game. The win sees Galatasaray extend their lead at the top of the Turkish Super Lig table to 80 points, five points ahead of their fierce rivals Fenerbahce.
