Despite a tough loss to Remo Stars Ladies in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Super 6, Coach Adukwu remains optimistic about his team’s chances in the competition.

In a post-match interview, Coach Adukwu said, “We lost the game, but we are not out. We’ll go back, regroup, and prepare for the next match.”

Coach Adukwu emphasised that his team will return to training, regroup, and come back stronger for their next game against Rivers Angels.

“We’ve watched our next opponents — Rivers Angels — and we plan to approach the game with a winning mentality. We must bounce back,” he stated.

When asked about his team’s performance, Coach Adukwu noted that they created chances and had opportunities to win the game but failed to capitalise on them.

“Football is about taking your chances, and today we didn’t. They had theirs and took it. That made the difference,” he said.

With four more matches to play in the NWFL Super 6, Coach Adukwu’s team will look to put their past losses behind them and make a strong comeback.

Their next match against Rivers Angels will be a crucial test of their resolve and determination.
