Rivers Angels gaffer, Tosan Blankson has expressed support to the players of the club for sealing a place in the 2025 NWFL Premiership Super Six despite two games to go.
The Jewel of Rivers are second on the table in group B with 26 points from 11 matches.
Blankson said irrespective of the result of their recent loss to Robo Queens, he hailed his players.
He admitted the result wasn’t a reflection of the players performance but he has utmost believe in his players ability to clinch the league title at the end of the season.
“Irrespective of all odds, I’m satisfied with the players performance and disappointed with the result.
“The result doesn’t reflect the performance of the players. Irrespective of the result, I still believe in the players performance.”
Rivers Angels have won eight matches, drawn two and lost a game in 11 games. The Jewel of Rivers will play host to Delta Queens in their next game on Wednesday, April 16 in Port Harcourt.
