The postponement was officially announced in a press release issued by the NLO General Manager, Tayo Egbayelo. According to Egbayelo, the decision to delay the season start was due to ongoing challenges encountered during the player registration process.
In light of these challenges, the NLO has also announced an extension to the registration deadline, which will now close on Friday, April 11, 2024
This extension aims to provide clubs with more time to complete the necessary registration procedures.
