Nigerian footballer Chioma Olise has officially begun her journey with Turkish women’s Super League side Trabzonspor, making her debut in the team’s 2-0 win over Amed on Sunday.
Olise, formerly the captain of Edo Queens, was introduced in the 70th minute of the match, marking a milestone in her career.
Trabzonspor’s victory was secured through goals from Fatlinda Ramaj in the 49th minute and Azra Ardos in the 88th minute.
The win helped Trabzonspor to sixth place in the league standings with 35 points from 18 games.
Olise’s debut is a promising start to her tenure with Trabzonspor, and fans will eagerly watch her progress. The team’s next match is scheduled for March 9, against Besiktas.
