Nigerian international Folashade Ijamilusi has signed a two-year contract with Liaoning Baiye, a top-tier club in the Chinese Women’s Super League. The move, facilitated by FIFA-licensed agent Ayodele Thomas, marks a significant step forward in the talented striker’s career.
Ijamilusi, known for her clinical finishing, brings a wealth of experience to Liaoning Baiye. She played a pivotal role in leading Edo Queens to the 2024 West Africa Zone B (WAFU-B) Women’s Champions League title in Côte d’Ivoire.

Furthermore, she showcased her talent in the inaugural CAF Champions League, scoring in Edo Queens’ opening match against CBE FC.
Ijamilusi has also been a standout performer in the Nigerian Women Football League (NWFL). She was nominated for the league’s best player award during her time with Robo Queens and subsequently claimed the golden boot with Edo Queens.
On the international stage, Ijamilusi made a strong debut for the Super Falcons, scoring a hat-trick in a friendly match against Algeria.
This move to the Chinese Women’s Super League presents a new challenge for Ijamilusi. She will face stiffer competition and have the opportunity to further develop her skills while contributing to Liaoning Baiye’s success.
