Chelle arrives with a full backroom staff, consisting of First Assistant Hadi Taboubi, Fitness Trainer Thomas Gornourec, and Goalkeeper Trainer Jean Daniel Padovani.

The 47-year-old recently resigned from his position with Algerian club MC Oran to take on the Super Eagles role.

It was also announced that Chelle will have a supervisory role at the upcoming 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN), which will be co-hosted by Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania.

This will provide an early opportunity for Chelle to assess the available talent within the Nigerian football landscape.
