Nasarawa Amazons head coach, Chris Danjuma, has declared his team’s intention to bring an end to Remo Stars Ladies’ impressive unbeaten streak in the Nigeria Women Football League.
Remo Stars Ladies, have been unstoppable, winning five and drawing one of their opening six matches.
However, Danjuma is determined to change that narrative when Nasarawa Amazons face off against the Sky Blue Stars Ladies at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne on Wednesday.
“Our away matches, we are conceding too many goals which isn’t good for us,” Danjuma told the club’s media.
“We want to keep working on our mentality, level of concentration, and the technical ability of the players to be able to adjust to whatever condition they find themselves.”
Danjuma emphasised the importance of not losing to their hosts, stating, “The greatest task ahead of us is to make sure we don’t lose against Remo Stars Ladies.”
With this mindset, Nasarawa Amazons will be looking to capitalize on any weaknesses in Remo Stars Ladies’ armor and hand them their first defeat of the season.
