A delegation from Mozambique made up of national team officials and athletes plying their trade in the local division at home left the country on Sunday afternoon for Egypt.
The cohort was flagged off by the Minister of Youth and Sports, Caidafine Manasse enroute to the final destination in Cairo, where the team will be camping for the next days.

In a moment marked by encouragement and spirit of unity, Manasse expressed complete confidence in the group, highlighting the quality and commitment of the technical team and players.
The Minister further emphasized the desire for victory in the two World Cup challenges ahead, maintaining that the country is united and believes in the success of the Mambas in this crucial qualifying stage.
Meanwhile, Uganda already touched down in Cairo, in preparations for the showdown slated for Thursday, March 20, 2025 at the iconic Cairo National Stadium.
