Lugazi FC host Express FC at Lugazi Stadium-Najjembe on day one of match day 19 in the Startimes Uganda Premier League.
The leaders are eager to return to winning ways on home turf after losing 2-0 to NEC FC last week in Lugogo.
For Express, they recorded a resounding 4-1 victory over Wakiso Giants FC at Hamz Stadium, their first win since the re-start of the second round.
Ahead of the meeting, Coach Gerald Efiti maintained that the club is determined and ready to pick another victory against the visitors.
“After defeating them in the first round, we are going to do more on Thursday so that we can beat them again. We are in a delicate position and we want to win this game so that we can maintain this team in the topflight league.” Coach Gerald Efiti
In the reverse fixture, Lugazi pipped the Red Eagles 1-0 in their own park yard courtesy of Sam Ssemugugu lone goal.
The newbies will be without industrious midfielder Derrick Mwanje who is suspended after accumulating three yellow cards while returnee Rogers Atube needs to pass a late fitness test to feature in the game.
