League game in South Africa postponed after floodlights failure at a stadium

Polokwane Municipality in South Africa had a tragic incident not forget after one of the games staged in the territory had a taste of mixed scenes.

The Betway Premiership bout between newbies Magesi Football Club and Chippa United at Seshego Stadium was called off over power outages on Tuesday.

The newly revamped stadium was hosting a championship game for the first time in 23 years.

Fans all out out to witness the historic moment were unable to watch the whole time of play, heading back home with grief.

Power cuts happened twice before it was decided by the match commissioner and pitch officials to halt it’s progress.

Stopped at the 21st minute, the scoreline was still on levels terms(1-1), with goals from Mcedi, and Sinoxolo Kwayiba in the opening five minutes.
