Kitara vs KCCA: Mubiru anticipating toughest of tests at Kitara in Hoima

KCCA FC are back on the road this Saturday as they take on Kitara FC at Royals Park Stadium on match day 22 of the Startimes Uganda Premier League.

The Kasasiro Boys in hot-form have won five of their last six games in all competitions, scoring 18 goals and conceding only twice.

Kitara FC, on the other hand, outmanuerved the poor start to the season and they have looked a better side since the appointment of a new tactician.

Speaking ahead of the confrontation, KCCA head coach Abdallah Mubiru expects a tough challenge from the hosts, urging his boys to be more clinical if they get a pick a postive result in Butema.

“We traveled well to Hoima, and everyone is in perfect health. The game against Kitara FC is going to be competitive, and hopefully, we can do the things we have worked on in training and win.” Mubiru said in pre-match interview

“I urge the players to do the things we have worked on and bury the chances we keep getting in games. We shall continue putting trust in all the players and build the right character we want from the players.”

KCCA FC defeated Kitara 2-0 in the first meeting of the season played in September, 2024 at MTN Omondi Stadium courtesy of first half strikes from Nsibambi and Saidi Mayanja.
