Kitara starboy makes a timely return for league action

Ahead of the trip to Bombo Military Barracks, the Royals camp received a huge boost with the return of their league top-scorer.

Forward Jude Semugabi is back in Kitara FC squad as the club gears up for it’s debut in the second round against soldier boys of UPDF FC.

The Cranes attacker has been out since last month after he picked a minor knock in training. He even went ahead to miss the Stanbic Uganda Cup engagement against Young Simba.

Eight goals to his name this season, Semugabi is seen as a key figure for the Hoima-based side adding the departure of compatriot Denis Omedi to Rwanda.

Meanwhile, attacking midfielder Moses Sseruyidde is also back whilst Titus Ssematimba remains out after suffering a groin injury in the past days.

New signing Amos Etoju from Mbale Heroes travelled with the rest of the team alongside junior graduate John Byaruhanga pending debut marks.
