The Startimes Uganda Premier League is set to resume this Thursday, March 27, 2025 after conclusion of the March International break.
Kitara visit entrants Police FC in an early kickoff at the Kavumba recreation ground seeking to bounce back to winning ways in the Ugandan top-flight.
The Royals failed to secure maximum points in the last two league games, 2-1 loss against BuL FC and were held to a 1-1 draw by Mbarara City before the break.
Speaking ahead of the confrontation, head coach Wasswa Bbosa revealed that they will be in the capital for all the three points despite falling short in the first round meeting.
” We lost to them at home in the first leg but quite a number of things have gotten better for us since then. We are targeting to pick maximum points and we shall be going all out at Kavumba,” said coach Bbosa
The reverse fixture played at the Royals Park stadium in Butema in October 2024 ended 1-0 in favor of Police FC thanks to Augustine Kacancu’s 28th minute strike.
A win for Kitara on the road could see the Hoima-based side displace the Kasasiro Boys of KCCA FC who sit fourth on standings with 31 points from 20 matches.
