Kitara FC soundly walloped giants KCCA FC 4-0 on Saturday evening in match day 22 of the Startimes Uganda Premier League.
Patrick Kaddu, Jude Semugabi, David Ndihawe and Kabon Living were on target as Kitara outclassed the Kasasiro Boys at Royals Park-Butema.
The home team broke the deadlock in the 20th minute after sustained pressure, former player Kaddu tapped in from Kabon Living cross to put the hosts ahead.
Jude Semugabi doubled the advantage towards the closing stages of the first stanza, Kaddu turning provider for Cranes forward in the 38th minute.
KCCA defense continued to breach after recess, conceding two more goals from the royals who ran riot on the day Infront of their own supporters.
Titus Ssematimba effort sailed through the goal mouth before midfielder David Ndihawe heading home to make it 3-0 in the 50th minute courtesy of another assist from Kaddu.
KCCA nearly reduced the deficit in the 64th minute, with Youngster Gatbel header failing to find it’s way into the net after a beautiful delivery from substitute Ssengendo.
The boys in red put the game beyond doubt in the 70th minute, Kabon Living rounding off the scoring in a thrashing that saw KCCA suffer their heaviest defeat this season.
With the emphatic victory, Kitara moved in the fifth position on the table with 35 points while Abdallah Mubiru’s side descended to 6th, a whopping 18 points behind leaders, Vipers SC.
