KCCA FC begin the second term of the Startimes Uganda Premier league against second-placed NEC FC at MTN Omondi Stadium.
The Kasasiro Boys are set to miss out on services of six players as they confront Mbalangu’s charges in Lugogo on Thursday.
The players in question are defender Hassan Muhamud who has a broken finger, Sammy Ssebaduka out due to an ankle injury.
Others are Gavin Kizito (suspended), Peter Magambo (foot injury), Julius Poloto (Achilles tendon injury) and Usama Arafat who suffered an injury to his thigh while in training.
Aside the injury setbacks, new signing Umar Lutalo from Kitara FC is in line to make his debut after being included in the matchday roster.
Academy graduates Brian Jjara and forward Yian Gatbel too are also available for selection as KCCA aim to overcome the high flying diehards.
The reverse fixture played during the first round, ended 1-0 in favor of NEC FC, former old boy Mazamir Mutyaba on target for the tenants.
