Ten days to the start of the second round of the Startimes Uganda Premier League, the Kasasiro Boys have bolstered their squad with an offensive player.
KCCA Football Club confirmed the acquisition of Ugandan International Umar Lutalo from counterparts, Kitara Football Club.
The attacking midfielder joins the yellow nation on a six-month contract, running till the end of the 2024-25 season.
Lutalo’s contract has an option for further extension when this campaign comes to climax in May.
Speaking to the official club media, the 21-year-old highlighted on his goals and the players’ quality at his new home in Lugogo.
“I feel so happy to sign for KCCA FC. I have come here to add to the rich history of the club and compete with my mates.”
”The club has good players in my position, but I bring healthy competition to ensure that we can achieve something positive as a unit.”
The versatile talent will fight for a place into Adallah Mubiru’s set up with the likes of Bright Anukani, Sharifu Ssengondo, Steven Munguchi, Saidi Mayanja, and Ashraf Mugume.
Last year, Lutalo won the Uganda Premier league title with rivals SC Villa before moving to the Royals of Kitara Football Club in summer.
