Kampala Queens FC continued their flawless run with an emphatic 3-0 win over Wakiso Hill WFC in a game played at St Mary’s Stadium on Saturday morning.
Second-half goals from Peace Muduwa, Nagadya Catherine, and Zainah Nandede sealed the contest in Kitende.
Kampala Queens opened the score in the 71st minute through Muduwa following a good lay-off from substitute Kamiyat in the forbidden area.
Four minutes later, Nagadya doubled the lead for the visitors courtesy of another Kamiyat assist on the enemy territory.
Zainah Nandede put the game beyond reach in the 85th minute after a solo run from the right wing before firing home at a near post.
The result saw the Queens of Soccer open a nine-point gap at the top, 37 points accumulated in 15 matches and still unbeaten this season.
Elsewhere, Tooro Queens pipped Lady Doves 1-0 in the Kitara derby, Katusiime Evelyn with the all important goal at King Oyo sports complex.
Amus College WFC drew 1-1 against Olila H/S WFC in Bukedea District. Shayline Opisa on target for the hosts while Atwani Brenda netted Olila’s goal.
