Kafayat Bashiru has confirmed that her target with remo Stars Ladies is to win the NWFL Premiership title.
Remo Stars Ladies secured a 2-0 win over Confluence Queens at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, thanks to a brace from star player Kafayat Bashiru.
The victory marked a return to winning ways for Remo Stars, who now have 22 points from nine games and sit second in Group A behind Edo Queens.
Bashiru’s impressive performance brought her goal tally to 7 in 9 games in the NWFL25, solidifying her position as one of the league’s top scorers.

In a post-match interview, Bashiru expressed her satisfaction with the win.
“My feeling was to score a hat-trick, but I’m very happy with the brace. My target is to collect the highest goal scorer of the NWFL,” she told NAIRA SPORTS
Bashiru also emphasised her desire to see her team at the top of the table, saying, “I want to see my teammates at the top of the table and win the NWFL league.”
Remo Stars Ladies are well-positioned to make a push for the Super 6 from Group A.
