Nasarawa Amazons coach, Christopher Danjuma, has praised his team’s resilience after coming from behind to secure a victory in their opening match of the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Super 6.
The win has boosted the team’s confidence and morale.
The coach emphasised that Nasarawa Amazons have come to compete and win the championship.
“We want to take things one game at a time. By the grace of God, we believe it’s time for us to become champions,” Danjuma stated.
When questioned about the team’s defensive record, Danjuma disputed the claim that Nasarawa Amazons have conceded the most goals.
“Sorry, I don’t agree with that. Are you saying my team has conceded the most goals? I don’t believe that’s accurate,” he said.
