Igbajo United

Igbajo United have finally broken their winless drought in the Nigeria National League (NNL) with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Abia Comets.

The newly promoted side took the lead in the first half through a header by Rilwan Sadiq. Despite creating several chances to extend their lead, Igbajo United were unable to convert them.

In the second half, Abia Comets pushed hard to level the scoreline, but Igbajo United’s defense held firm under pressure.

The win marks a significant turnaround for Igbajo United, who had previously played seven matches without a win, managing only one draw and six losses.

The victory propels Igbajo United to 9th place in Group A, and they will look to build on this momentum when they travel to Lagos to face Smart City FC in their next match.

Igbajo United’s first win of the season is a welcome relief for the team and their fans, and they will be eager to continue this winning streak in their upcoming matches.
