Rivers Angels striker Mary Moses is set to face her former team, Adamawa Queens, in Wednesday’s Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) match week seven encounter at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt.
In an exclusive interview with the Jewels of Rivers media, Moses expressed her determination to showcase her skills against her former team.
“I want to prove to Adamawa Queens that I’m still the same Mary they know. I’m willing to score goals against them,” she said.
Moses acknowledged Adamawa Queens’ impressive performance this season but remains confident in her team’s ability to secure a win.
As a mark of respect for her former club, Moses vowed not to celebrate any goal she scores against Adamawa Queens on Wednesday.
The highly anticipated encounter kicks off at 4 pm on Wednesday at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium.
