Uganda U-17 national team, The Cubs, came from behind to defeat The Gambia 2-1 to seal at a spot at the expanded FIFA U-17 World Cup at expense of the two-time Africa Champions on Saturday.
Gambia wasted no minute in finding a breakthrough, Ahmed Njundu Kanyi opened the scoring early in the 1st minute moments after the high-stakes showdown had just started.
Uganda restored parity 12 minutes later, Torach well crafted cross was finished off by lethal Forward James Bogere, keeping the global dream alive.
