The deal was officially confirmed on Wednesday, marking a significant step in the club’s preparations for their first season back in France’s top flight.

“Moses Simon was a top priority for us” — Ferracci

Speaking to the club’s official website, Ferracci expressed his excitement at landing the experienced Nigerian international, emphasizing that Simon was the club’s top target for the summer transfer window.

“We are thrilled to welcome Moses. He was a top priority for us, and he demonstrated real enthusiasm for our project, even with several other offers on the table,” Ferracci said.

“His qualities will significantly improve our efficiency in different areas.”

Simon reportedly turned down interest from more established European clubs, choosing instead to commit to Paris FC’s ambitious project — a move Ferracci believes underlines the winger’s professionalism and belief in the club’s vision.

Moses Simon: A proven performer in Ligue 1

The 29-year-old winger becomes the first Nigerian player to sign for Paris FC, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a proven track record in French football. During his six-year stint at FC Nantes, Simon registered 37 goals and 42 assists in 201 appearances, endearing himself to the fans and helping the club win the 2022 Coupe de France.

His dynamic playing style, versatility, and creativity are expected to provide Paris FC with a much-needed boost in attack as they prepare for life in Ligue 1.
