Godwin Odibo, is reportedly on his way out of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) just six months after joining the club. His departure brings an early end to a short yet eventful stint with the Oluyole Warriors, which began in January 2025.

Odibo joined 3SC at the start of the second half of the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season, bringing pace and attacking flair to the Ibadan-based side.

Despite limited game time, the 27-year-old winger, managed to register one goal and one assist, contributing to the club’s push for a strong league finish.

One of his standout moments came in a narrow 1-0 victory over Bendel Insurance, where he scored the decisive goal in the 81st minute, sealing three valuable points for Shooting Stars.

Having previously played for Remo Stars and Sporting Lagos, Odibo is regarded as a versatile forward with a good understanding of the NPFL. His experience and work rate made him a reliable squad option for coach Gbenga Ogunbote’s side, even if he didn’t always start matches.

While his departure from 3SC appears imminent, Odibo’s next destination remains unclear.

Sources suggest he could remain in the NPFL with interest from other clubs, though a potential move abroad is also being explored.
