Full House as Yusuf arrives Super Eagles camp for World Cup qualifier

Alhassan Yusuf has arrived at the Super Eagles’ Radisson Blu Hotel camp in Kigali on Tuesday morning, ensuring that head coach Eric Chelle now has all 23 invited players at his disposal.

The New England Revolution (MLS) midfielder’s arrival completes the squad, although he missed the team’s first training session held on Wednesday.

Yusuf is expected to participate in the Super Eagles’ second training session scheduled for later tonight. The session on Tuesday marked the team’s first training under their new Malian coach, Eric Chelle.

The Super Eagles are preparing for their crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matchday five encounter against the Amavubi of Rwanda, which will take place at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali on Friday. Nigeria currently sits in fifth position in Group C with three points from four games.
