Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) have disclosed the exact date when the Stanbic Uganda Cup Semi-finals draw will take place, with teams gearing the for the final bend of the local competition.
The highly anticipated draw accommodating three giants namely KCCA FC, Vipers SC, Kitara FC and FUFA Big League side, Kataka FC will be at Serena Hotel on Monday, 28th April, 2025.(10AM EAT)
The Kasasiro Boys of Kasasiro overcame Kaaro Karungi FC 2-1 in Western Uganda to reach this phase while Kitara FC narrowly edged 2022 Champions BuL FC 1-0 at Royals Park, Butema.
Vipers SC beat rivals SC Villa 1-0 courtesy of Milton Karisa’s late goal under the floodlights in Kitende as for Kataka FC needed penalties (3-0) to eliminate another first division entity, Police FC at Kavumba Recreation Ground.
The team that wins this competition at end of the 51st edition, grabs the opportunity to represent Uganda at one of the CAF elite InterClub tournaments, the CAF Confederation Cup.
