The head coach of Rivers Angels, Tosan Blankson has attributed the success of the club to reach the President Federation Cup final to the club’s General Manager (GM), Matilda Otuene.
The Jewel of Rivers defeated Ibom Angels by a lone goal to reach the Federation Cup final.
Blankson who still holds the record of winning the NWFL Premiership title with an unbeaten run poured accolades on Matilda who was able to steer the club’s ship during their hard times.
He praise her leadership and management skills which have solved daunting tasks for the club this season.
Blankson further hailed the club’s players for fighting with every breadth on the field with their remarkable run to the Federation Cup final.
Nine times Federation Cup winners and defending champions, Rivers Angels will be hoping to defend and win the Cup title for a record tenth time when they face off against Northern giant, Nasarawa Amazons in the final.
