Nigeria’s youth women’s national team coach, Christopher Danjuma, has expressed his optimism that the Super Eagles will qualify for the World Cup despite their 1-1 draw with Zimbabwe in the World Cup qualifiers in Uyo.

Danjuma, who is confident in the team’s abilities, stated, “Nigeria is rugged and blessed and determined, I am telling you to the last game I believe Nigeria will qualify for the World Cup.”

He acknowledged the emotional aspect of the game but remains hopeful that the team’s chances will eventually be converted into goals.

He told NAIRA SPORTS, “We are very emotional, we created chances and a day will come where all the chances will be converted.

Danjuma also highlighted Nigeria’s wealth of talent, saying, “We are blessed with players more than any other African country.”

In a show of faith, Danjuma declared, “The World Cup will not want to miss Nigeria, and by His grace, Nigeria will be at the World Cup.”
