The Ethiopian women’s national team head Coach, Yosef Gebrewold named his provisional squad to take on Uganda in the upcoming CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) Qualifiers.
The roster consists of 29 members who will face their East African counterparts later this month in a two legged affair.
Majority of talents invited are home-based with the exception of only three players namely Aregash Kalsa (Young Africans), Ariet Udong (Young Africans), and captain Loza Abera of DC Power in the USA.

The group gathered on Monday in Addis Ababa where they conducted their first training in preparations for the Crested Cranes. Out of the summoned 29, 25 managed to show up on day one.
The first leg between the two countries will take place in Kampala on February 21 before they rekindle the rivarly 5 days later in Addis Ababa.
The winner on aggregate here faces either Tanzania or 2008 WAFCON hosts Equatorial Guinea in the final qualification round.
