El Cambio Stars out of the country for trials in Europe

The prospects from the growing Football academy in East Africa were unavailable as Uganda U-17 national football team held their first training session in Njeru on Monday.

These are Torach Elvis, Ssengooba Hamuza, Isima Magala and forward James Bogere who are currently in Denmark doing trials with unidentified clubs.

This was disclosed by the head coach Brian Ssenyondo, confirming the numbers present in the Cubs camp at FUFA Technical Center.

“The turn up is good. we only miss like six players, four of which are from Masaka Sunshine, Blessed Sacrament, and El Cambio Academy that is Bogere, Magala, Torach, and Hamza who will come in later because they had already scheduled to travel to Denmark I think for trials but they will be back here in time.” Said Coach Ssenyondo

However, the youthful tactician further revealed that the quartet will join the rest of the team-mates in training few weeks from now.

Uganda are in preparations for the upcoming CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Morocco programmed to start on 30th March-19th April, 2025.
