Nigerian midfielder Chioma Olise was the catalyst for a second-half storm as Trabzonspor Women’s Football Team emphatically defeated ALG Spor 4-0 in their Turkcell Women’s Football Super League clash on Sunday.

While the first 45 minutes saw a balanced encounter with few clear-cut chances, the introduction and influence of Chioma Olise after the break proved pivotal.

In the 52nd minute, the former Edo Queens star broke the deadlock, scoring the opening goal that ignited Trabzonspor’s attack and sent the home fans into jubilation.
Olise’s strike injected confidence into her teammates. Just nine minutes later, in the 61st minute, Diana Lucas Msewa doubled Trabzonspor’s lead, and she further extended it to 3-0 in the 65th minute. Azra Ardos completed the rout in the 76th minute, sealing a comprehensive 4-0 victory for the home side.
Although Diana Lucas Msewa grabbed a brace, it was Chioma Olise’s crucial opening goal that shifted the momentum of the match entirely. Her ability to find the back of the net unlocked ALG Spor’s defence and paved the way for Trabzonspor’s dominant second-half performance.
