Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has praised the wealth of talent within his squad, naming six key players he believes can drive the team to victory against Zimbabwe in their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier on Tuesday.
Chelle is aiming for another crucial win at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, with the match scheduled for 5:00 pm.

During his pre-match press conference, Chelle highlighted the exceptional quality of his attacking options.
“Victor is a superstar so we need to work together, every player needs to work together to help our star score lot of goals,” Chelle told reporters.
He went on to name other key players, emphasizing the overall strength of the squad.
“Every player in this team is a great star. Alongside Victor, you have Boniface, Tolu, Umar, Lookman, Samuel [Chukwueze], you have many great players. We need to play with the same identification, just for scoring goals. This is why we need to bring a game project for the team.”
A victory against Zimbabwe would secure nine points for the Super Eagles, significantly bolstering their World Cup qualification aspirations.
