Bul continue fine form with resounding win in Kavumba

The Oil Manufacturers are in terrific form since the commencement of the Startimes Uganda Premier League second round.

Bul FC were 2-0 winners over Soltilo Bright Stars in a contested witnessed on Saturday at Kavumba Recreation Grounds.

Second half goals from defender Walter Ochora and Karim Ndugwa propelled the Eastern giants to victory on the road.

This was a straight win for Bul in as many games after victories against Express FC (2-0) and new comers Mbale Heroes. (3-0)

A goalless draw at the interval, Bul compounded Bright Stars woes on return to the battlefield, putting two unanswered goals past the hosts.

An hour gone, Walter Ochora opened the scoring off a Jeromy Kirya perfect delivery from a corner kick to put the travelers ahead.

Ten minutes later, forward Karim Ndugwa extended the lead, increasing the numerical advantage in pursuit of maximum points.

Following the victory, Bul moved third on the log, 29 amassed points in 18 games. For Bright Stars, they stayed 15th on 11 points.

In Mbale, Cosia Waiswa’s dramatic 90th-minute equalizer salvaged a point for struggling Mbale Heroes, cancelling out Gerald Ogweti’s initial effort for Police FC.
