Naija Ratels forward Azeezat Obadun has outlined her team’s determination to improve their performance in the second stanza of the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership.
Acknowledging that their first-round performance was not entirely disappointing, Obadun highlighted the team’s struggle to convert chances into goals as a key area for improvement.

“Our performance was not that bad in the first round just because we were unable to get to the points we were supposed to be due to the ability of not scoring plenty of goals,” she told NAIRA SPORTS.
Obadun emphasised the team’s commitment to maximising their points haul.
“We are going to make every of our matches count, starting from our first game on Wednesday,” she declared.
Naija Ratels finished the first stanza with 10 points from 7 games.
