…LSFA Chairman Hajji Liameed Urges Teams to Uphold Discipline, Fair Play, and Exceptional Performance
As the 2024/2015 Lagos State League season approaches, set to commence on March 19, 2025, across various venues in Lagos, the leadership of the Lagos State Football Association, under the guidance of Hajji Gafar Liameed, has issued a call to action for the teams competing in the state’s premier league.
During the recent draws and unveiling event held at the LSFA secretariat in Surulere, Chairman Hajji Gafar Liameed emphasized the necessity for participating teams to maintain discipline both on and off the pitch throughout the tournament.
He articulated that discipline is fundamental to achieving success and highlighted the critical role of fair play during the competition.
Gafar remarked, “I encourage the teams, especially the players, to consistently deliver their best performances during the matches, as the league’s games will garner significant publicity and media attention, which will be advantageous for players, officials, investors, and stakeholders in both financial and sporting aspects,” stated the esteemed Lagos FA leader.
In total, 14 male and 10 female teams are anticipated to compete in this eagerly awaited football league championship.
