The award-winning Allstars Football Club of Abeokuta has congratulated the newly appointed Director General of National Sports Commission (NSC), Chief Bukola Olopade, who hails from Gbagura in Abeokuta South Local Government Area of Ogun State was former Ogun State Commissioner for Youth and Sports and MD/CEO of Nilayo Sports Management Limited.
As a very successful former Commissioner for Sports in Ogun State, he was announced as the new DG of NSC on Thursday by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Allstars Football Club Abeokuta’s President, Alhaji Lawal Adeoye Waheed in a congratulatory message said “Chief Olopade (Ozo) is a seasoned Sports Technocrat and a performing Administrator who has been doing a lot in promoting Nigerian Sports from the Private sector and his appointment is a well deserved one”
“Olopade proven track record of elevating the Nigerian Sports landscape, his expansive global network and his experience in managing multimillion dollar budgets and assets will prove invaluable in his new role as the Director General.He is indeed equiped to transform the National Sports Commission into a shinning beacon of excellence”
Olopade is a reputable Egba titled Chief who was recently installed as the Osi Asoju-Oba of Egbaland by the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo
He is also currently the Chairman, Local Organising Committee (LOC) for the upcoming National Sports Festival (NSF) which is scheduled to be held by January 2025 in Ogun State.

Allatars Football Club Abeokuta is the 1st and only Allstars Football Club in the country to have won State Federation Cup as the club won Ogun state Federations Cup in 2018.
The association parades most experienced, astute football administrators who are tested stakeholders in sports in the country i.e. Former Coaches Kolawole Solomon Taiwo, Kadiri Kawawa Ikhana (MON), Biodun Kalejaye, Muyiwa Famuyiwa. Also, Coaches Toyin Ayinla, Akeem Daranijo, Shakiru Lawal, Henry Oviawe and Elder Biodun Odejimi (Bonanza), amongst others.
